What is wri?

The WRI file is a format used by the application Write from Microsoft. The file may also be opened with Wordpad if you don’t have Microsoft Write installed. In Windows 95/98 the Write application was just a shell that called Wordpad. In older versions  ( starting from Windows 3,1) Windows Write was just a basic word processor. This file format may contain styled text and page formatting information. Some older versions of Microsoft Works may also be able to open WRI Files. What is ppsx?

The PPSX file extension is the newer format for the old PPS format that makes use of a combination of XML architecture and ZIP compression. It has been created as an open format, so that it can be used by anyone that wishes to. Mime type: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.slideshow
