What is dss?

The DSS file format is a save game file used in Action Replay software by Datel Ltd, which is used to alter the behaviour of video games. Action Replay is currently used on handhelds as the Game Boy Advance  Playstation Portable and Nintendo DS, but also on the second generation consoles XBOX and Playstation 2. Newer versions of the DSS format will have the DUC extension.
