The FLV extensions, a Flash Video File is exported by the video Exporter plug-ing that is included with Adobe Flash or other programs that support a FLV file. It contains a short header, interleaved audio, metadata packets and video data. Both the audio and video data is stored in the same way as standard Flash files like SWF.
