The DIV file type is a project file that has been created using DIVA-GIS. DIVA-GIS is a mapping and geographic data analysis application that enables the user to view a map image with layers of objects and properties on it, besides storing parameters that include information about the map. Note: The DIV file does not include layers, these are stored in separate files.
