What is vob?

The VOB file format is a ‘DVD Video Movie File’. It is a movie data file from a DVD disc and can usually be found in the VIDEO_TS folder. It contains a Video Object that synchronizes video, audio and subtitles usually in the MPEG-2 format so it can be played by most video players.

What is dvd?

The DVD file extensions is a CloneCD DVD Information file that is used by CloneCD in the process of burning DVD data to a disc. These files are relatively small in size, but are required by the application to burn the data correct to a disc, along with the larger files as .000, .001 and .002.
